IOM’s Peace and Development Program works in partnership with the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) to implement programs focused on vulnerability reduction and community stabilization in conflict-affected fragile communities through inclusive socioeconomic initiatives and strengthened community resilience. Key results are livelihood support and improved social cohesion in underserved and fragile communities in the ARMM. The objectives of the program is to reduce poverty, improve governance and empower communities.
The program is designed to be conflict-sensitive and peace-promoting to contribute to lasting peace and development.
